Almighty Father, we ask that Your will be done in the Maldives. We pray for the healing and restoration of those who have experienced persecution and suffering for their faith, as well as for those who have lost of family and livelihood through the tsunami. We pray for a change in the Maldivian constitution to allow for Christians to worship in freedom and peace. Protect and encourage those who attempt to meet secretly for fellowship and teaching. May the door to Christian mission work in the Maldives be opened and Christian radio broadcasts be heard widely. May You bring many whose lives have been turned upside down by the tsunami to faith in the LORD Jesus. Amen. |
