Tajikistan is officially a democratic republic with religious freedom. However, with a population that is 97-98% Muslim, those rights are not always practiced. In one of the northern villages, a group of masked people entered a church and shot the pastor while he was praying. In the south, local people have kicked churches out of their area. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has never even been preached in the eastern region. It was through President Rahmonov and parliament that religious freedom was officially accepted, but with many national problems crying for their attention, it is not always carried out.

	Pray that God would raise up mature leaders among the Christian Believers.
	Pray for strong churches.
	Pray that the Christian Church would go to the unreached and bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people.
	Pray for the sending of missionaries to other Muslim countries.

Father in Heaven, we thank You for the Christian Believers in Tajikistan and their desire to go to the unreached in their nation. We ask that You give them every resource needed, both physical and spiritual, to accomplish what You placed on their hearts. May You raise up many mature leaders among them, whose character and lifestyle reflects You. Amen
